What is CLAT?

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national-level entrance exam for admissions to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs in 22 National Law Universities (NLUs) in India. It is conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities.

Eligibility Criteria for CLAT

  • Postgraduate (PG): LLB or equivalent degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).
  • Age Limit: No upper age limit for either UG or PG programs.

CLAT Exam Attempts

There is no limit on the number of attempts for the CLAT examination. Candidates can appear as long as they meet the eligibility criteria.
