Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality:
Candidates must be Indian citizens.

Age Limit:

• Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years (as on 1st July 2025).
• Ground Duty (Technical): 20 to 26 years.
• Ground Duty (Non-Technical): 20 to 26 years.

Educational Qualification:

• Flying Branch: Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized university. Must have passed Mathematics and Physics at 10+2 level.
• Ground Duty (Technical): Engineering degree (B.Tech/B.E.) in relevant field with a minimum of 60% marks.
• Ground Duty (Non-Technical): Graduation in relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks.

Physical Standards:
Candidates must meet the required physical and medical standards to join the Indian Airforce. (Details available in the official notification.)

Selection Process:

The selection process for AFCAT 01/2025 consists of the following stages:

Online Written Test (AFCAT Exam):
The AFCAT exam will be conducted online and will include questions from General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning.

AFCAT Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) Interview:
Candidates who qualify in the AFCAT will be called for the AFSB interview, which will include psychological tests, group tasks, and personal interviews.

Medical Examination:
All shortlisted candidates will undergo a medical examination as per the IAF standards.

Final Merit List:
A final merit list will be released based on the candidate’s performance in the written exam, AFSB interview, and medical examination.
