The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has issued the indicative notification for the West Bengal Civil Service (WBCS) Examination 2024-25. Eligibility Criteria

  • Group D: 21-39 years

Selection Process

The WBCS exam consists of three stages:

1. Preliminary Examination – An objective-type screening test.
2. Main Examination – Includes six compulsory papers and an optional subject for Group A & B.
3. Personality Test – Candidates qualifying in the Mains are called for an interview to assess their suitability for administrative roles.

Result & Cut-off Marks

The results will be announced stage-wise on the WBPSC official website. Cut-off marks vary annually based on factors like the number of vacancies, exam difficulty, and candidate performance. The previous year’s Prelims cut-off for the General category was around 101.25 marks.
