He said, "The world is complex, with numerous important principles and beliefs." He further added, "the nations are often emphasized on certain principles selectively, based on their immediate needs." Jaishankar said, "Post-independence, India has faced aggression and boundary challenges." He highlighted that specific principles without considering broader contexts can be misleading.
