What happened during his tenure?

  1. Capital shifted to Delhi and Delhi Darbar on 12th December 1911,The 1911 Delhi Durbar was organized to celebrate the coronation of King George V and Queen Mary in June of that year at London, Great Britain, to commemorate the historic moment.
  2. Annulment of the Partition of Bengal in 1911. Creation of Bengal Presidency.
  3. Foundation of Ghadar party in 15 July 1913 by Sohan Singh Bhakna. (* If Sohan Singh Bhakna not present in options than Lala Hardayal would be right answer )
  4. Foundation of  Hindu Mahasabha in 1915 by Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya, Lala Rai.
  5. On 23rd December 1912 bomb thrown on Lord Harding known as Delhi-Lahore Conspiracy Case.
  6. In 1912 Delhi was made a province.
  7. Islington Commission on civil services was constituted in 1911.

  10. In 1914 Forest Research Institute and College opened at Dehra Dun.
  11. In 1915 Indian independence committee also known as The Berlin committee formed in Germany by Virendranath Chattopadhyay, Bhupendranath Dutta, Lala Hardayal and others with the help of the German foreign office under 'Zimmerman Plan'. 
  12. In 1916 Saddler Committee on Universities appointed- BHU (Banaras Hindu University) was founded Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviyaji.
  13. In 1920 Women University was founded in Poona.
  14. In 1916 Tilak founded Indian Home Rule League. Tilak started his version of the Home rule League in April, 1916 at Belgaum. It was to work in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Central Province and Berar, excluding Bombay. Annie Besant laid the foundation of the Home Rule Movement in Madras (present-day Chennai)
