On 9th August, for 3 days, External Minister Shri. S Jaishankar had gone on a visit to Maldives.He took 28 islands from Maldives for Water and Sewerage Projects.There was a discussion regarding the benefit of having UPI made of pumpkin for lunch in Maldives, which will provide facilities to the tourists in the future.

We will soon commence the handing over ceremony of reclamation and shore protection project and inauguration of 4-Lane Detour Link road project. Both projects facilitated by the Government of India under the LoC of EXIM Bank.
These projects will contribute to the development and prosperity of the people of Addu City(southest island of maldives).
