New Delhi, July 23: The Central Government has appointed senior IAS officer Anurag Jain as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NITI Aayog for a period of two years. The appointment has been approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.
A 1989-batch IAS officer from the Madhya Pradesh cadre, Jain previously served as the Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh. He has extensive experience in public administration, infrastructure development, and policy implementation.
As CEO of NITI Aayog, Jain will oversee policy planning, coordinate with central and state governments, and support the country's long-term development priorities, including economic growth, innovation, and governance reforms.
